Wide Open Space 2

We hired a RATT (Rent A Team of Teens)  from the youth group Daniel attends, to help us move the lumber from upstairs to downstairs.   We are exceedingly grateful for their strong backs, cheerful attitudes and endless energy.

Dave Conlee - the fearless, wonderful youth group leader

Daniel and Dave carefully, neatly stacking!

Goin' out the big doors.... out and around
Big, and dirty, space.
Daniel Winn, Lawrence Timmons,  Lucas Simpson
Sweeping, vacuuming and hammering down nails.

It is nearly impossible to capture this room with my little camera.

Wow!!

I'll say it again.

WOW!!!

It looks so fantastic - so much bigger than it looked with the division in the middle!! Good work. I know that must have been back-breaking.

It's exciting to see the work unfold. Also fascinating to see how the barn was initially built, how they used excellent materials as well as 'recycled' cans!

OH WOW!! It looks like a whole different barn!! Glad to see you had some help too! Praying things are going well and that you are able to get some rest!! It looks great!

Looking at these pictures brings back memories of ages ago that seem like yesterday. I grew up fascinated by the barn, the structure and all that was in it. What a beautiful transformation it is undergoing! It is being preserved by being lovingly updated into a structure that will have purpose for its second century. I can't wait to see it. Bravo!
